Joel said that the biggest difference from the literature tables at last years DBSA conference was the greater prominence of information on getting people off of disability and back to work. A lot of people with bipolar disorder are on disability. (Many also are not, either because theyre being supported by family members without recourse to disability, or because they are working.) Getting on disability is a slow and difficult process, which often involves being rejected at least once. (
